Through discussions and applied exercises, you'll establish foundations for inclusion and belonging, implement administrative best practices, enhance accessibility through universal design, and foster a climate of belonging. Completing the series earns the welcomed here designation, denoting your commitment to ongoing inclusion. Throughout the series, a welcomed here facilitator works with each organization on their specific inclusive actions.

Volunteer for Accessibility Audits
What is an accessibility audit? It requires individuals to utilize a pre-designed accessibility audit checklist to review a public space for areas needing improvement. Volunteering to conduct Accessibility Audits requires a short training to be prepared for conducting audits in partnership with the organization to be audited.

Gather your friends, family, co-workers, and more for a quick fundraiser to create your own Smear Art to display in your home or office. This event is perfect morning, noon, or night - weekdays or weekends! Here's how it works:
Select a time and place (plan for refreshments if you want them)
Invite your guests - each guest donates $20 to welcomed here
welcomed here does a brief overview of what we do and provides instruction on creating smear art - total time is one hour
Have fun and create your unique pieces of art
Why smear art? Anyone can create art using this technique. The colors represent inclusion - the design is up to you!
welcomed here provides all paint supplies for each person to create one piece. Extra canvas are available for an additional donation.
